In 1972 David McKay registered a company under the name of Pronza Pty Ltd. The name for this business was to be McKay marine. This was a Shipping chandlery and David supplied Boating goods to the local shipping industry

A short time later, David relocated his business to a better premises. With hardstand facilities and Mooring / Slipways facilities in addition to his chandlery David now offers a complete package to the boat owner.

David is well know in the boating industry and has been at his current location for 30 years. He has great knowledge of boats and has sailed since he was a child. Being a world champion yachtsman he is looked on by the locals as a bit of a legend and is a valuable source of reliable information for his customers.
